Ever since Coca-Cola was introduced in the late 1880's, it's continued to grow in popularity throughout the world. As anyone of nearly any age, in most cultures throughout the world and they will immediately recognize Coca-Cola. This iconic soda was instrumental in creating the entire soft drink industry and making consumers aware of this new product.
Since it's earliest days, Coca-Cola has used various marketing efforts to get the word out about their products. Today it's nearly impossible to go anywhere in the civilized world and fail to see a Coca-Cola product or at least something with a Coke logo attached. Most noticeably are the many Coke related items found in retail stores that sell Coca-Cola. This started with the introduction of tin signs or posters that would be displayed in a general store that had Coca-Cola for sale. Today, these signs and posters, as well as all other kinds of memorabilia are sought after by collectors. With the Coke logo being attached to so many different products, Coca-Cola collectors may not have a hard time finding Coke related collectible items. The list of Coke memorabilia is almost limitless!
It doesn't matter if you're a serious Coca-Cola collector, an antique collector or you simply love Coca-Cola, it's interesting to see all the various Coke accessories on the market today. The oldest Coca-Cola memorabilia is of course the most expensive, including old prints from the early 1900's or the first Coke calendars from the late 1800's and early 1900's, that can fetch several thousand dollars at an auction. Even items which were thought to be insignificant at the time, have considerable value and desirability among collectors. Items like Coca-Cola No-Drip bottle protectors, bottles and bottle caps, bottle openers and vintage ice boxes would have been used daily for those who enjoyed Coke, but many would never have imagined the value that some of these early products could have in the future.
Coca-Cola has been associated with nice pieces of artwork for many year as well, which has gained a following among art collectors. Artists like Normal Rockwell, Pamela Renroe and Jim Harrison are just some of the many artists that have created Coca-Cola artwork, some of which has considerable value today. Even modern day posters of these original pieces make great art pieces for your home or office.
One of the unfortunate things that comes out of the success of Coca-Cola products is that many fraudulently try to pass of replica's as the real thing. Obviously replica's will not have near the value that the originals do, so take care and do your homework on a product so that you know that the item you are buying is the real thing.
